Intellectual Property Notice

1. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the content, design, structure, and functionality of this Website and in the publications, frameworks, diagnostic instruments, indices, methodologies, and analytical tools described herein are owned by The Forrester Group (Guyana), Inc. and are used in commerce through its advisory division, Forrester Consulting Group ("FCG"). These rights are protected by the Copyright Act of Guyana (Cap 67:01), the Trade Marks Act of Guyana, and applicable international intellectual property treaties. Robert D. Forrester is the original author of all literary works and retains moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act.

All written content, reports, analyses, strategic frameworks, diagnostic instruments, scoring methodologies, and data compilations published by FCG are original literary works in which copyright subsists automatically from the date of creation under the Guyana Copyright Act. No registration is required for copyright to exist. Any unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or public communication of these works constitutes infringement.

3. Trademarks

The Forrester Group (Guyana), Inc. owns a portfolio of trademarks and service marks used in connection with its advisory, publishing, diagnostic, and training activities — including the name and mark "Forrester Consulting Group" and the abbreviation "FCG". These marks are used in commerce and are protected whether or not they have been formally registered with the Deeds and Commercial Registries Authority (DCRA) of Guyana. A complete schedule of FCG trademarks and pending applications is maintained internally and is available to authorised parties upon request.

Use of the ™ symbol indicates a claim of trademark rights. Use of the ® symbol (if and when it appears) indicates a mark that has been formally registered. The absence of either symbol from any specific use does not constitute a waiver of trademark rights in that mark.

4. Diagnostic Instruments and Scoring Methodologies

FCG's proprietary diagnostic instruments, indices, and scoring methodologies constitute original compilations and literary works protected by copyright. The structure, organisation, weighting algorithms, scoring rubrics, and interpretive frameworks of these instruments are trade secrets of FCG. Access is available only under a separate FCG Diagnostic Tool Licence Agreement. Unauthorised access, reproduction, reverse engineering, or use of FCG diagnostic instruments is strictly prohibited.

6. Reporting Infringement

If you become aware of any unauthorised use of FCG intellectual property, please notify us immediately at robert@forresterconsultgy.com with details of the infringing use, the location where it appears, and your contact information. FCG takes all IP infringement seriously and will pursue all available remedies under the laws of Guyana and applicable international law.

7. Governing Law

This Intellectual Property Notice is governed by the laws of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, including the Copyright Act (Cap 67:01) and the Trade Marks Act. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Georgetown, Guyana.
